What is Latisse?
Latisse (bimatoprost) is a synthetic version of a naturally occurring prostaglandin.
Hypotrichosis is treated with Latisse eye drops (abnormal growth of the eyelashes). Eyelash growth, length, thickness, and blackness can all be improved with bimatoprost.


If Latisse causes significant eye irritation, pain, or vision problems, stop using it immediately and contact your doctor.

Before taking this medicine

You should not use Latisse is usually applied each night. if you are allergic to bimatoprost.

To make sure Latisse is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:

Glaucoma is a condition in which there is an increase in the pressure inside your eyes.
any infection or swelling in or around your eye
detachment of the retina; or

How should I use Latisse?
Each night, Latisse eye drops are routinely used. Follow your prescription’s instructions to the letter. Do not take more of this drug than is prescribed. Increasing the dosage of this medication will not improve its effectiveness.

Latisse side effects

If you develop hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat, seek emergency medical attention right away.

Stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once if you have:

a burning or itchy sensation in your eyes;
Swelling, redness, acute discomfort, crusting, or discharge of the eye (these could be indicators of infection); visual issues, eye pain, seeing halos around lights; increased sensitivity to light; or the sensation that something is in your eye.
Eye redness or itching are common Latisse side effects.
