What is Cambia?
Cambia (diclofenac) is an anti-inflammatory medication that is not a steroid (NSAID). Diclofenac works by decreasing pain and inflammation-causing chemicals in the body.
Cambia can only be used to treat a headache that has already started. It won’t help you avoid headaches or minimize the amount of attacks you have.
If you’ve ever had an adverse reaction to aspirin or NSAIDs, you shouldn’t take Cambia (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).
Before taking this medicine
Cambia has the potential to induce deadly stomach or intestinal hemorrhage. These symptoms, especially in elderly persons, can occur without notice while using Cambia.
If you have heart disease, high blood pressure, ulcers or bleeding in your stomach, asthma, liver or renal illness, or if you smoke, tell your doctor before taking this prescription.
Diclofenac can interfere with ovulation, making it more difficult to conceive when using it.
How should I take Cambia?
Follow your doctor’s instructions for taking Cambia oral powder. Follow your prescription’s instructions to the letter. Your doctor may adjust your dose from time to time to ensure you get the optimal outcomes. This medicine should not be taken in higher amounts or for longer than indicated. Use the smallest effective dose to address your illness.
Cambia side effects
If you have signs of an allergic response to Cambia (hives, difficulty breathing, swelling in your face or throat) or a severe skin reaction, seek medical attention right once (fever, sore throat, burning eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash with blistering and peeling).
If you experience chest pain that spreads to your jaw or shoulder, abrupt numbness or weakness on one side of your body, slurred speech, or shortness of breath, get emergency medical attention.
If you have the first symptom of any skin irritation, no matter how minor, stop using Cambia and call your doctor right away.
Symptoms of the illness; heart problems – swelling, rapid weight gain, shortness of breath;
Kidney disorders include infrequent or no urination, painful or difficult urination, arm or leg edema, fatigue, and shortness of breath.
Nausea, diarrhea, stomach pain (upper right side), tiredness, itching, dark urine, jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes); or signs of stomach bleeding – bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds; or signs of stomach bleeding – bloody or tarry stools, coughing up blood, or vomit that looks like coffee grounds.
